Laurent and Suzanne Bannwarth created the estate, located in Obermorschwihr, in the 1950s. Today, the winery is run by their son Stéphane, their daughter Réfine, and Stéphane's wife Geneviève. The soils are predominantly limestone loam. Their organic/biodynamic farming and meticulous work in the winery is certainly apparent in their expressive, lively wines.

A blend of pinot blanc, pinot gris, riesling. Harvested by hand and pressed slowly to preserve aromatics. Aged on the lees for 12 months. The wine was bottled with the addition of their own grape juice + wine to begin a second fermentation in the bottle. Matured for 12-14 months and then disgorged without the addition of sulfites or sugar.
