The 2025er Krettnacher Auf dem Hölzchen Riesling Kabinett Trocken comes from 50-60-year-old vines above the Ober Schäfershaus. It offers a rather backward nose made of pear, grapefruit, lemon peel, a touch of brioche, and fine spicy elements. The wine proves beautifully mineral and playful on the palate and leaves a precise and still has a touch tart feel in the impressive finish. The aftertaste is juicy, but not yet very expressive.
