The 2024er Niedermenniger Herrenberg Spätburgunder Trocken was made from destemmed fruit and was fermented and aged in traditional Fuder. The wine offers a nice nose made of cranberry, Morello cherry, spices, and mint. It is animating and fresh on the palate at first before a riper touch of red berried fruits comes through and adds juiciness and depth to the experience. The finish is fresh, delightfully light-footed yet superbly persistent and packed with flavors. This is an outstanding expression of light-footed Pinot Noir.
