Vented Fermentation is Mitch McMinn, described to us as "the forklift driver at Field Recordings" began with the idea that when filling or emptying a tank, the tank must be “vented” to prevent an explosion or implosion— similar to a juice box. It also calls out the idea that one should be calm and collected in a cellar, while also remaining creatively open to new ideas. Queen & Boots are Mitch's grandparents, who are honored on the label of this wine. Aglianico is typically a big, burly red, at least when grown in the southern Italian region of Campania. This one is light, juicy, and chillable. Go figure! This wine screams lasagna, or like stuffed shells, or something.
